Walker Buehler is dealing with shoulder soreness. He’s headed back to Boston for testing. Cora said they’re working through stuff and not sure if it’ll be an IL stint or skipped start, no diagnosis yet, but he won’t start Friday. Bello will go Friday, TBD Saturday, Crochet Sunday

It’s been a rough go for the Twins this season. Entering the weekend at 13-19 they’re at just a .406 (hey, Ted Williams!) winning percentage and spared last place in the AL Central because the Chicago White Sox (technically) are a a baseball team.
They haven’t really spent on the team but haven’t stripped it for parts either. They club has been for sale — with rumored interested parties — but the leader to purchase, Justin Ishbia, passed when he got the chance to increase his minority share in those same White Sox.
Mostly the Twins are in a holding pattern both on and off the field.
They’ve played a bit better of late: 6-4 over their last ten games.
Royce Lewis has been on the IL since Spring Training.
Carlos Correa is off to a miserable start .215/.261/.318.
There is a bright spot: Byron Buxton has 6 home runs and 7 steals while slashing .239/.274/.477.
Sunday is Star Wars day at Fenway Park. Hopefully Garrett Crochet can play the role of the New Hope and lock up that win. Which means they just need one of Friday and Saturday to take the series. And TC Bear is no Ewok so it’ll take some work to topple Joe Ryan and Bailey Ober. Thankfully they miss Pablo Lopez.
