Maybe the boys peaked too early.
The Red Sox lost again last night, with Carlos Narvaez picking up a second catcher’s interference call in as many innings to drive in a Phillies run. That’s what happens when you peak too early — which isn’t necessarily what has happened, because there’s ample time, and is better than not peaking at all — and muddle through the rest of the year. Let’s hope that’s not what’s happening. I’m off to Citi Field for Mets/Angels. Giddyup.
