Hello and happy Monday folks. Hope you had a good weekend; I spent it at the Saratoga race track for a bachelor party and didn’t win a single one of my bets. It was an astute reminder as to why I don’t bet often.
The Red Sox will continue their tour of the National League’s division leaders out of the All-Star break tonight by paying a visit to first-place Philadelphia. We might be getting an otherwise very good team at the right time, though; the Phightin’ Phillies are 4-6 in their last 10 games and just dropped a series to the Halos. Hope I didn’t just jinx our boys!
First pitch for the start of this series is 6:45 tonight; no word on whether or not Dennis, Dee, Charlie, Mac, and Frank will be in attendance.
