Hooray!
It was tempting — and, frankly, prudent — to tamp down a bit on your excitement after the Sox swept both the Nationals and Rockies. The Rockies are the worst Major League team in history (which is something we’ve said about a different team for each of the last two years now; neat) while the Nats appeared to be done with baseball as a concept for the rest of 2025.
But last night’s win was a real goddamn win against a real goddamn team, and the postseason push is officially on. Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
