The Red Sox look to keep the momentum going in their final series of the year before the All-Star break.
Last night, the Red Sox got their No. 7 back for the first time in a long time in Masataka Yoshida. Tonight, they will try and find another No. 7 that’s been missing from their existence for even longer. If they win the series opener against the Rays, it will be their first seven game win streak since May of 2023. The previous three times they’ve gotten a win streak to six games, they’ve stumbled, so we’ll see if they can reverse that trend this evening.
