Today will serve as the calm before the weekend storm.
The Red Sox, like much of America will have the day off today as they shift between series in Seattle and San Francisco. All eyes now turn to the upcoming matchup by the bay as it will serve as a closing chapter in the Rafael Devers saga.
The next big question will be where Devers is playing during this series. He’s already started taking grounders at first base, and if he’s there tomorrow night when this series begins, I can’t imagine it’s going to go over well in certain segments of the Red Sox clubhouse, front office, or fanbase.
