OTM Open Thread 5/23: Brayan Bello, Lucas Giolito try to bounce back

There are two Red Sox games today, with the first one being a Brayan Bello day game. We all know what that means.

Bello, of course, is a notoriously bad day game pitcher:

But the fact is that he’s been poor all season, at any time of day. We’re still dealing with a small sample size, thankfully, but Bello is currently carrying the worst FIP, strikeout rate, and walk rate of his career. He’s been walking tightropes all season and he finally fell off last time out against the Braves.

Can he turn it around today?
