After failing to take advantage of the weaklings earlier in the season, the schedule is turning tougher.
Ian Browne had this interesting note about the two opposing starters straddling today’s off day:
By facing Tarik Skubal tonight and Chris Sale on Friday, the Red Sox, per Elias, will become the first team to face the reigning Cy Young Award winners in both leagues in back to back games. Obviously this would have been hard to do before Interleague started in 1997.

This raises the question, which starter did you always fear facing the most? Or maybe still do if they’re still in the league. So many to choose from over the years from legit aces to guys who just had Boston’s number.
