Fly the B not the W
Happy Monday. Your Boston Red Sox have knocked off the Chicago Cubs. After a rough loss on Friday the Sox hammered away on Saturday and rebounded to help out Chris Martin on Sunday. The Sox are now 16-13 in third place in the AL East. Two games behind Baltimore Orioles and three games back of the New York Yankees.
They have today off with the San Francisco Giants in town Tuesday-Thursday for three games.
Remembering 2004
Game 29 was a walk-off win last night and a walk-off win in 2004. Twenty years ago it was against the Kansas City Royals and their closer Mike MacDougal. A ninth inning home run from Mark Bellhorn lifted the Sox past KC to bring their record to 18-11. That’s a tad better than this year but the Tyler O’Neill All Stars aren’t that far behind.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
