Also Tanner is our King
Happy Thursday. Tanner Houck tossed a Maddux last night – a complete game in less than 100 pitches. And he also decided to make it a shutout. We already have a strong contender for Red Sox game of the year. That’ll be hard to top.
Remembering 2004
The Curse Breakers won again to bring their record to 13-6 on the season (current Sox at 10-9). Beating the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 6-0, Boston got a home run out of Jason Varitek and doubles from Manny, Bellhorn, Ortiz, and Mueller. NESN’s own Lenny DiNardo tossed a clean ninth inning. Carl Crawford didn’t steal a base against Boston that night.
There’s day baseball today at 1:35 PM ET and Brennan Bernardino is making the open.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
