Bad opponents are gone, time for a tough stretch!
Hey, winning eight of nine and back-to-back sweeps has been wicked fun, right? Time for the true test of this Boston Red Sox team’s meddle in July. It starts as the last series before the All Star Break with a four-game home series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Sox are only a game and a half back of the Rays in the standings coming into a rare Thursday game, and getting off on the right foot would be a big help.
Walker Buehler got the win in Washington over the weekend but something still looks off. Last time he faced the Rays at Fenway though, he DOMINATED in a 7.0 inning victory. Can he reclaim that form tonight or will he take a walk of shame off the mound?
