A series win would surely lift the spirits!
It has been a very explosive, dramatic, eventful, and emotional few days. The Raffy trade remains the hot topic and will continue to be so in the coming days and maybe weeks. The 2025 Sox roster quieted the narrative that they’d suffer without Devers in Game 1, and then proceeded to get completely shut out in Game 2. The Sox have been averaging less than 3 runs a game going back to the Yankees series. Can the bats come fully alive today? Will said bats support a Crochet effort? Can we get this series win, or will the Mariners pitching doom us once again? I will mention this: Crochet’s 117 strikeouts are currently 50 more this season than Castillo’s, who has 67.
