The rivalry is renewed for the first time this season
The rivalry is back for the first time in 2025 as the Red Sox travel to New York to take on the first-place Yankees. Walker Buehler takes the mound for the Red Sox on Friday night. The last time he pitched against the Yankees was when he closed out the 2024 World Series. He’s squaring off against rookie Will Warren, a promising young righty. Warren has excellent stuff and huge strikeout numbers, but command issues as well.
