It’s everyone’s favorite time: Trying-to-Avoid-a-Sweep time!
The vibes around the Red Sox are bad again! Everyone knows it, including the players! The offense is nonexistent for what feels like the eighth time this season! People are injured! We’re 3 games under .500! The bullpen isn’t being consistently reliable when it matters! The season is practically as good as lost! Oh no!!! All of this is stacked against the Red Sox right now. Add on that Bello hasn’t been able to go deeper than five innings in his last few starts and we’re set up for another loss. Hard to be optimistic when these are the facts. Will the Sox stick to their script, or will they actually be good enough to not be swept?
