Let’s cap off the homestand strong!
This ISN’T a rubber match, like I’ve said for many a Sunday game thread, but an important one nonetheless. If this Red Sox team is going to take itself seriously this season, they need to take 3 out of 4 from struggling teams like the Orioles. An offensive drought like the nightcap of yesterday’s double header isn’t going to cut it.
We welcome back Walker from his ejection, hoping he can go as deep as Giolito did last night though, keeping the bullpen from getting taxed. Mayer at third, Hamilton at short, Toro at first, the way last night’s match ended up defensively. Who comes out on top? You gotta watch to find out!
