Game 45: Red Sox at Tigers, Dobbins vs. Skubal

I fear we’re losing this one.

The Tigers are a powerhouse this season, and the Red Sox remain mid. Having lost the previous two games—last night’s loss was yet another Worst Loss of the Year Candidate—and facing reigning AL Cy Young champion Tarik Skubal on the mound this evening (who’s already up to 60 strikeouts on the season), I think we’re in for our first sweep. You know what that means: Time to go back under .500 again! Unless the Sox wanna have a miracle game for once in their stinky little lives.
