Happy Friday, Red Sox Nation! The Red Sox are back on the road for the next week, starting in Kansas City. The Royals are red hot, having won 15 of their last 17 games. The Red Sox, as is customary, are one game over 0.500 and send Hunter Dobbins to the mound tonight. Getting the bottom of the order out will be important for Dobbins because the meat of the lineup isn’t going to be easy to navigate.
It’s also the first game after Rafael Devers made comments about the team’s roster construction and his role. Be prepared for at least 90 minutes of discussion about Devers, his teammates, and what the future holds.
