Fenway Friday!
The Red Sox are back at Fenway following a 0.500 road trip. Brayan Bello takes the bump against Joe Ryan of the Minnesota Twins. Ryan is coming off a six-inning, 11-strikeout outing. He has the profile of a pitcher the Red Sox may struggle with, using a heavy four-seam approach with good velocity. Bello is trying to build off his last outing in which he went six innings and allowed three runs. Mickey Gasper also returns to Fenway tonight. If I know how baseball works, and I don’t, he’ll hit a ball about eight feet and get a base hit after crushing baseballs right at defenders all of last year.
