Let’s see how it’s made
No rest for the Red Sox. They head (mid) west to face the hottest team in baseball: the 10-game streak Minnesota Twins.
And the Twins are armed with a powerful new weapon: sausage.

The Twins have a lucky sausage. It’s literally a sausage.
Former Red Sox and Rhode Island resident Rocco “Woonsocket Rocket” Baldelli had this to say about the sausage:
“The thing hasn’t been refrigerated in many days, and there is no doubt that when that thing opens up, whoever is touching it, is in deep trouble,” Baldelli said in a postgame interview Sunday night. “There is no doubt in my mind that we are carrying something that is very unhealthy to the human body.”
However he continued:
It’s bringing us a lot of hits and runs and stuff, so I’m all for it.
Unfortunately for the Twins the sausage was not able to keep Byron Buxton on the as he heads to the IL before the start of the series against Boston.
Vaughn Grissom will make his season debut and his Red Sox debut tonight. Let’s hear it for stability at second base! The Bobby D era has ended (for now????)
First pitch is at 8:10 PM ET on WEEI and NESN.
