After an exciting Friday night win propelled by Trevor Story, the Red Sox have a chance to keep the momentum rolling with their ace on the mound. Garrett Crochet will become a third different color of Sox in his career as he dons the City Connect yellows for a Saturday spectacle at Fenway.
Crochet will face Chase Meidroth in the leadoff spot. The former Red Sox prospect was part of the haul that brought Crochet to Boston over the offseason and broke up his no-hitter in Chicago last week in the eighth inning. Similar to then, I’m confident that the right Sox will come out on top tonight as they ride a three-game win streak into the weekend.
