Game 113: Red Sox vs Astros – Lucas Giolito vs Framber Valdez

What a morning this could be…

This feels REALLY early for baseball, doesn’t it? We do this once a year on Patriot’s Day but to do it in August? It just feels strange. What also feels strange is how the Red Sox have taken the series already. I was nervous Friday with Cooper Criswell but he did excellent enough to keep the Red Sox in it. I wasn’t happy with Walker Buehler yesterday but the bullpen came in clutch and the offense launched three homers. With that, the Red Sox are SECOND PLACE in the AL East. Let that sink in. Can they extend that lead this morning? Let’s see how many of us can watch and find out!
