Tomorrow’s July 31st? What’s that mean for baseball again??
The Sox close out their very short roadtrip today, with their third game against the Twins. The series is split, and over both games, we’ve seen what makes this team great (Roman Anthony, Alex Bregman, Jarren Duran when he’s hot, everything Ceddanne Rafaela brings, our starting pitching [for the most part], the bullpen when it works) and what makes this team bad (The defense when sloppy, high strikeout rates, the bullpen when it doesn’t work). Everyone should have a good sense about what the Red Sox needs to become a better team, or what the Sox need to hang on to. It’s now time for the front office to do something about it. This game is the final bullet point in the argument about what should be done about the team, whether it’s buying, selling, trading, or doing a combination of all three. And if the front office does nothing at all? There very well may be hell to pay. There may also be another hugging troll-job.
First pitch: 1:10 p.m. EST

Lineups: (UPDATE: Bregman is no longer in the lineup [stinky, but he’s fine, he just wanted an off-day]. Abraham Toro is now at 3rd base, batting second.)
