The former Dodger looks to get the series victory against his old club.
This was so close to being an insane pitching matchup. Shohei Ohtani was slated to be on the mound for this one in what would have been must watch TV for most of anyone. Ohtani on the bump at Fenway would have been something. Instead, he’s stretched out to Wednesday so we face May instead. What we do finally get is a full game of Mookie back at the Park, may his family be in your thoughts. I never thought I’d say we’d be cheering for him to get struck out by Aroldis Chapman, but here we are.
With a win and another Yankees loss, we’d tie and possibly jump them in the AL East standings. Not sure I had that on my bingo card for this season either! Can the Sox get it done today?
