Eli Manning is the only quarterback in history to have beaten Tom Brady in a Super Bowl twice. And Brady clearly hasn’t forgotten that.
In a recent promo teaser for the 2023 NFL season, Brady was asked if he thought the season was scripted. Brady rejected the question on the grounds that he never would have played along with a script that saw him lose twice to Peyton Manning’s younger brother.
“Do I think the NFL is scripted? You think I really would have played along with a script that had me losing to Peyton’s little brother Eli twice in the Super Bowl?” he mused. “No.”
That was pretty savage and fans had a wide range of responses to Brady’s little complaint about Eli’s little brother beating him.
.@TomBrady‘s script would’ve looked a little different if he had it his way. 😅 #YouCantMakeThisStuffUp pic.twitter.com/x4bp4U2vbL

“Calling him Peyton little brother is mad disrespectful,” one user replied with a laugh.
“Ever since he left the Patriots Brady has started to grow on me and I hate it,” wrote another.
“Two of the greatest days of my life,” another wrote.
Those two Super Bowl wins against Brady could very well propel Eli Manning into the Hall of Fame someday. Hopefully Brady is there at the induction ceremony just for some extra laughs.
