Tom Brady Didn’t Talk About Aaron Hernandez In Patriots Documentary – Here’s Why

NFL fans were surprised that Tom Brady wasn’t featured on the episode of “The Dynasty” that was about the late Aaron Hernandez.

There were several former Patriots who were asked about Hernandez, such as Wes Welker and Deion Branch.

Matthew Hamachek, the director of “The Dynasty,” recently explained why Brady was absent from the episode about Hernandez.

“I didn’t ask him about it,” Hamachek told MassLive. “Part of it is, you’ve got three hours with people, and you have to pick and choose where you’re going to focus your questions on and I did not ask Tom Brady about [Hernandez].

“You have to make a choice every time you’re interviewing somebody, like, what are you going to ask? And so if I had to make the choice between asking him about Aaron Hernandez, or asking him about the Deflategate, I was going to lean toward Deflategate. I thought that was the thing that he needed to have a chance to respond to because obviously that is about him.”

There you have it. Hamachek was simply making sure he maximized his time with Brady.

Considering there was 20 years worth of content to discuss with Brady, we’d say he made the right choice focusing on the Super Bowl titles and scandals.
