The New England Patriots and the Kraft Family are finalizing $250 million in renovations to Gillette Stadium, per Front Office Sports.
Gillette Stadium has been home to the Patriots since 2002. This price tag marks the largest upgrade in the stadium’s history.
The upgrades include a 22-story lighthouse, new premium spaces and the nation’s largest video board of its kind.
All of these upgrades are reportedly set to be ready for the Patriots’ Week 1 home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Gillette Stadium website highlights some of the upcoming changes:
The start of the 2023 NFL season will mark the completion of the most dramatic Gillette Stadium improvements since its opening in 2002 in the north end of the stadium. This project features a completely re-imagined Enel Plaza leading into the stadium, an enhanced lighthouse, a new high-definition video board, the addition of hospitality and function spaces, new and improved concession locations and other fan amenities.
In the first 20 years of the venue’s existence, the Kraft family invested $300 million in improvements. This single offseason of upgrades nearly matches that figure.
