With OTAs and minicamp in the rearview, the New England Patriots can now shift their focus to training camp, where the pads come on and players compete for a spot on the roster.
This is a good time to take a closer look at each position group in New England. In this series, I am going to look at each player and dive into what they need to do to make the roster, along with sharing my thoughts on whether they should or shouldn’t make it.
Today, we’re starting with the wide receivers room, which has been a trouble spot for the team. The Patriots currently have 12 receivers signed to their roster, and everyone isn’t making the team.
