It hasn’t taken long for Patrick Mahomes to put his name in the GOAT conversation when it comes to NFL quarterbacks. But when it comes to those arguments, the standard bearer is Thomas Edward Patrick Brady.

Asked about the comparison between the two as Mahomes heads to his fourth Super Bowl in six seasons as a starter, Patriots owner Robert Kraft weighed in on how he believes Patrick stacks up with TB12 to this point in their careers.

“They’re both off the charts. I had a personal relationship and great love for Tom Brady,” Kraft explained. “I think if Patrick is pretty special, and he can evolve and sustain the way Tom did – it looks like he’s on the path – that’s great.”

“But what I’d also like about him is I’ve heard, and the little I’ve seen, he’s a great human being – the way Tommy’s off the charts,” the Pats owner continued. “And that’s great for America, that two people who are so accomplished can be so good representatives to young people.”

It’s clearly hard for Kraft to pick a side but something tells us his allegiance will always be to Tom.
