Many New England Patriots fans are running out of patience with head coach Bill Belichick given the team’s recent struggles.
As it turns out, the team owner might feel the same way. Robert Kraft hired Belichick 23 years ago, kickstarting the greatest dynasty in NFL history.
However, he’s reportedly just as frustrated with New England’s poor performance, not just this season but overall after Tom Brady left following the 2019 campaign.
Jeff Howe of The Athletic detailed Kraft’s apparent displeasure in an article today entitled “If you think Patriots owner Robert Kraft wouldn’t fire Bill Belichick, you’re wrong.”
“On multiple occasions in recent years, he has lamented the team’s lack of a postseason victory in the post-Brady era. Kraft has grown frustrated, if not downright angry, over this shortage of success, according to people close to the situation,” Howe writes.

The Patriots are 1-4 to start this season and currently have the worst offense in the league with 55 total points in five games. New England has gone more than 30 drives without an offensive touchdown dating back to its win over the New York Jets in Week 3.
Assuming they don’t turn things around, this season would be the third in the last four without a postseason appearance, and the fifth straight without a postseason win.
The Patriots’ last playoff victory was over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
