Rob Gronkowski Makes Thoughts On Bill Belichick’s Coaching Future Very Clear

For the first time in over two decades, the New England Patriots will enter a season without Bill Belichick as head coach.

Belichick isn’t retiring and is currently speaking with other teams around the league.

One of his former players says that the Patriots’ decision to part ways with him doesn’t mean that Belichick isn’t still one of the best coaches around.

“I think, 100 percent, he’s still the great Bill Belichick,” former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski told TMZ Sports about his former coach.

“No doubt about that.”

Gronkowski says he believes Belichick can still accomplish a lot in the NFL, but that he simply needs to be in the right situation.

“If he goes to a team with great players with great talent, he will be successful,” Gronkowski said.

“Because he’s still the powerhouse coach that we all have seen throughout the years.”

Gronkowski also supported the new Patriots head coach, Jerod Mayo, saying that he’s heard nothing but good things about him since he’s been with the organization as a coach.

Mayo and Gronkowski were teammates for several seasons, winning one Super Bowl title together.

Belichick is 27 wins away from becoming the winningest NFL head coach of all time.

He’ll have to get there on a team that isn’t the New England Patriots, but one of the greatest Patriots of all time believes he will be able to pull it off.
