It appears Robert Kraft’s patience with Bill Belichick is running thing.
During an appearance on “The Herd,” Albert Breer provided an update on the Patriots amid their 1-5 start to the season.
Cowherd didn’t shy away from talking about Belichick’s job security in New England. He asked if discussions about moving on from Belichick are already taking place.
Breer’s response to that question from Cowherd was quite telling.
“These discussions have taken place,” Breer replied. “I can tell you for sure, Robert hears the criticism, he hears the anger locally and people in the building know for a fact that he’s hearing the anger from the fanbase.”
Breer didn’t stop there. He also told Cowherd, “I think now we’re at the point where this is just going to be a flat out firing.”

Belichick has done it all in New England, winning six Super Bowl titles and 263 regular-season games.
That being said, the Patriots haven’t looked very competitive this season. Mac Jones has regressed, the skill position players aren’t explosive, and it doesn’t seem like Belichick is making the right moves in the front office.
If the Patriots’ struggles continue, Kraft may have no choice but to pull the plug on the Belichick era.
