Report: Pop Star Shakira Spotted With Former NFL Star

Well here’s something we didn’t expect this Tuesday: Shakira is reportedly seeing a former Super Bowl MVP.

According to The Sun, Shakira was spotted with former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman at her 47th birthday party this past weekend.

Edelman, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has not been very vocal about his personal life.

Shakira, on the other, has kept things fairly quiet since her separation from former soccer star Gerard Pique. They were an item from 2011-2022 and had two children together.

Here’s the latest on Shakira and Edelman, via The Sun:

Edelman, 37, and the Hips Don’t Lie singer stood side by side with their arms around each other as they smiled at the camera in the black and white shot.

Fans of both Shakira and Edelman are now curious to know whether the image might point to the pair being romantically involved

Edelman is no stranger to the spotlight. We’re talking about a former athlete who constantly thrived on the biggest stage of them all.

If Edelman is truly seeing Shakira during his free time, that would give the NFL community another power couple to monitor.

For what it’s worth, Edelman has already made it known that he’s a fan of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance.

“I think it’s great for the game,” Edelman said. “Anytime you make our game bigger, it’s a plus. I love football, and I love the NFL. They’ve given us so much. That Taylor bump is real now. I went to the concert. I got a 7-year-old daughter. And so it’s pretty cool.”
