The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly bringing back a familiar face to their backfield.
Per NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, the Rams signed ex-Patriots first-round pick Sony Michel on Tuesday.
Noting, this is Michel’s second stint with LA after being traded there in 2021 and winning Super Bowl LVI with the team.

Once a major piece to New England’s rushing attack, Michel saw himself fall out of favor with the Patriots and has since bounced around the league a bit with the Rams, Dolphins and Chargers.
As a rookie in 2018, the former Georgia Bulldog ran for 931 yards on 209 carries with six touchdowns in just 13 games. However, since then Michel has reached the 900-yard mark just once. Although he did have a decent season in his first go around with the Rams.
Michel joins a running back room in Los Angeles currently made up of Cam Akers and rookies Ronnie Rivers, Kyren Williams and Zach Evans.
