The Las Vegas Raiders just can’t seem to get enough of those ex-New England Patriots.

According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, the Silver and Black have claimed former Pats cornerback Jack Jones off waivers. Reuniting the former second-round pick with Antonio Pierce, who coached him in both high school and college.

Jones was released by the Patriots on Monday after just two seasons. When asked about the move, coach Bill Belichick said: “I felt like it was time to move on.”

The 25-year-old corner had seen his role begin to shrink over the past few weeks. And his disengaged play along with his previous arrests and missing curfew ahead of Nov. 4’s game against the Commanders made New England feel like it was time to cut its losses.

“Certainly we want to thank the Patriot Organization for drafting Jack,” Jones’ agent J. Tooson said in a statement following his release. “Jack is an immense talent and looks forward to making an immediate contribution on his next team as soon as Sunday.”
