Wes Schweitzer stands 90 games into his NFL career.

A 90-game veteran will be joining the front in Foxborough.

The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer on a one-year deal, according to a Friday report from NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Schweitzer, 31, has made 62 starts since entering the league in the sixth round of the 2016 draft. The former No. 195 overall pick out of San Jose State began his run with the Atlanta Falcons before making stops with the Washington Commanders and New York Jets.

A hand injury sent Schweitzer to injured reserve last September after previously residing there in 2023 due to a calf issue. He was activated to the 53-man roster in Florham Park as the calendar turned to December, appearing in four games on special teams before becoming a free agent.

Schweitzer, listed at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds, stands 4,572 offensive snaps into his career and saw 99 percent of the downs as an NFL sophomore. His recent campaigns in the AFC East primarily brought work at right guard and center.

He has also been a starting left guard, spelled in at both tackle spots and reported as an eligible tight end.

The new league year opened Wednesday. And on Thursday, the Patriots released center and captain David Andrews with the failed-physical designation.
