Even though New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick danced around the question on Wednesday, the Patriots do have their eyes set on DeAndre Hopkins.
Per Dianna Russini of ESPN, the Patriots are interested in signing Hopkins after he became a free agent last weekend.
He’s expected to begin visiting teams over the next week.

It’s no surprise that the Patriots would be interested in trying to get Hopkins. He’d instantly become their best wide receiver on the roster and would be an added weapon for third-year quarterback Mac Jones.
A top three of Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Devante Parker could scare some teams for this upcoming season.
Hopkins may not be as good as he once was, but he can still make any catch in any situation. He finished this past season with 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
We’ll see if he schedules a visit with the team in the coming days.
