Following yesterday’s game, New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner accused New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones of punching him in a sensitive area during a scrum following a Jones QB sneak.
On Monday, Gardner posted video of his encounter with Jones, which he implied shows the quarterback hitting him below the belt before getting shoved to the side.

It might be a long shot because that footage isn’t particularly clear, but NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero acknowledged that its possible it could be enough video evidence to result in the league disciplining Jones.
“The NFL would need video evidence for any discipline against Mac Jones … and Sauce Gardner has some to consider,” Pelissero wrote on X/Twitter.

The league is reportedly looking into Gardner’s claim. This isn’t the first time Jones has faced allegations of dirty play either.
The Patriots won yesterday’s game in the rain at MetLife Stadium, their 15th straight victory over the Jets. Jones threw a long touchdown pass to tight end Pharaoh Brown for his team’s only TD in a 15-10 win.
