Taylor Swift has cultivated a massive following for her music, but don’t count New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe among it.
Zappe appeared on “Jones & Mego with Arcand” on WEEI Monday and was asked by one of the show’s hosts if he was a Swift fan, to which he replied “No, ma’am.”
“This is not a shot to Taylor Swift. I’m not not a fan; I just don’t listen to that music,” Zappe clarified.
When the hosts asked New England’s new QB1 what kind of music he does listen to, Zappe asked if Swift was country or pop.
“I’m a country guy. That’s probably why since she moved over to pop,” Zappe said. “I know some of her old songs when she was in country. I don’t dislike her.”

Zappe realizes he has to tread lightly here or the Swifties will be after him. He clearly isn’t trying to be malicious toward Taylor; you’re just not going to find him jamming out to her music.
Zappe will make his second straight start this coming Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. We’ll see if T. Swift is in Foxboro for that game cheering on her boyfriend, KC tight end Travis Kelce.
