Patriots player profiles: In-depth scouting reports for the entire 2025 roster

Strength and weaknesses, film review, roster outlook and more for every player on the Patriots’ current roster.

For a second straight year, “change” has been the theme of the offseason in New England. While 2024 saw the Patriots and longtime head coach Bill Belichick reach the end of their road together and the organization bring in Drake Maye as its quarterback of the future, 2025 started with yet another coaching change — Jerod Mayo to Mike Vrabel — plus significant roster turnover.

Gone are the last few former Super Bowl champions such as team leaders David Andrews, Ja’Whaun Bentley and Joe Cardona, replaced by a new generation of potential cornerstones. Needless to say, these are not your father’s Patriots. Heck, these might not even be your Patriots anymore.

With the organization-wide rebuild rolling on at One Patriot Place, and plenty of previously unfamiliar faces joining the fold recently, we decided to go extra deep with our player profile series this year. Scouting reports, individual previews, salary cap analysis — it’s all in there, as is a lot more.

New entries will be added regularly over the course of spring and summer, both here and on the Pats Pulpit front page. Stay tuned, and thanks for taking a deep dive into the Patriots roster with us.
