Patriots Injury Report: Rhamondre Stevenson Ruled Out Vs. Texans

October 12, 2024 by NESN

The Patriots will be without one of their top offensive stars when they play the Houston Texans this Sunday.

New England on Friday ruled out Rhamondre Stevenson for Week 6 due to a foot injury. The running back suffered the injury last week after he was formally benched before rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown. Head coach Jerod Mayo hinted that the team could elevate Kevin Harris or Terrell Jennings from the practice squad. The Patriots also have Antonio Gibson and JaMycal Hasty on the active roster.

Joe Cardona was added to the injury report due to a calf injury. The long-snapper was a limited participant in practice Friday, and the Patriots signed Tucker Addington along with Marcus Harris to the practice squad. Addington would fill in for Cardona if the special teamer missed Sunday.

The Patriots also listed 11 players as questionable for Sunday.

New England’s full injury report can be found here.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION
CB Isaiah Bolden, Hamstring
WR Kendrick Bourne, Knee
S Kyle Dugger, Ankle
DT Davon Godchaux, Elbow
CB Marcus Jones, Groin
C Nick Leverett, Ankle
WR K.J. Osborn, Shoulder
G Layden Robinson, Ankle / Wrist
LB Sione Takitaki, Knee
CB Marco Wilson, Groin

FULL PARTICIPATION
LB Anfernee Jennings, Shoulder
CB Jonathan Jones, Shoulder
T Vederian Lowe, Knee

Joe Mixon was a limited participant in Texans practice for the second day in a row. The running back missed the last three games due to an ankle injury, but his return to practice hints at a possible return. Tackle Tytus Howard was upgraded to a full participant, so C.J. Stroud will have his protection against the Patriots.

New England has until Saturday evening to make roster elevations from the practice squad before taking on Houston at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
