Gillette Stadium will welcome back Tom Brady with a special ceremony. In addition to seeing the all-time great, New England Patriots fans attending Sunday’s game will leave with a special memento.
ESPN’s Mike Reiss showed off a commemorative ticket for the Week 1 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brady graces the front alongside his No. 12. The bottom reads “The Greatest of All Time” with six stars, presumably representing his Super Bowl wins with the team.
The back lists his numerous accomplishments in the regular season and playoffs.
“Tom Brady left the NFL simply known as the GOAT, The Greatest of All Time,” the ticket says. “Thank you, Tom!”

That wasn’t a cheap ticket to attain. NBC Sports Boston noted an average price of $734, by far the most expensive of any Week 1 game.
Patriots fans shelled out big money to see Brady, who led them to 17 AFC East titles in 20 seasons. He retired as the all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns with the most Super Bowl appearances, wins, and MVPs.
“I had two decades of incredible, life-altering experiences. I have so many memories from my time there and memories with people there, and I’m creating a new memory with the people there. … I love the sport and I love the Patriots, so going up there to see a lot of my friends and family is gonna be really a great experience,” Brady said on his podcast earlier this week.
The Patriots will hold a halftime ceremony for Brady during Sunday’s game, which starts at 4:25 p.m. ET.
