The New England Patriots are reportedly cutting ties with a running back following the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft.
New England selected two running backs in the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada – South Dakota State’s Pierre Strong in the fourth round and South Carolina’s Kevin Harris in the sixth round.
According to a Monday morning report, the Patriots are cutting one of their veteran running backs following the NFL Draft.
Pro Football Network first reported the news.
“New England Patriots are cutting veteran running back Devine Ozigbo, who is expected to draw interest as a free agent from multiple teams, according to a league source,” he reported.

The Patriots have a lot of depth at the running back position right now following the NFL Draft, so this move isn’t too surprising.
