It’s been a frustrating season for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick as his team has gone 2-7 amid calls for him to be fired or retire. Now he’s having issues on his staff.
According to Patriots insider Mark Daniels of MassLive, Belichick announced today that offensive line coach Adrian Klemm “will be out for a little while.” Belichick explained that Klemm is dealing with a “health-related” issue.
In his absence, assistant offensive line coach Billy Yates – who played for the Patriots from 2004 to 2008 and won a Super Bowl ring under Belichick – will take over for Klemm.
Right now the Patriots have serious issues everywhere on the offense. The last thing they need is for one of their coaches to be out for extended time.

The Patriots offense ranks 20th or worse in nearly every offensive category and their 15 points per game are second-worst in the league after the New York Giants.
Their defense hasn’t been that much better though, ranking no better than average in any category either.
Will the Patriots continue to spiral downwards, or will they find a way to get right in the weeks to come?
