With Tom Brady finally retired for good, his former boss Robert Kraft is reflecting on his Hall of Fame career with the New England Patriots.
Appearing on ESPN, the Patriots owner declared that Brady is a one-of-a-kind in the 100-year history of the NFL. He declared that he can’t imagine there being another player like him.
“I don’t believe in the 100-year-old history of the NFL, there’s been a quarterback of Tom’s ilk. I would have trouble ever believing there would be another one,” Kraft said.
There are plenty of people who agree with Kraft on that point. But a few are confident that there can be another and a few are pointing to Patrick Mahomes as potentially surpassing him someday:
In his 20 years with the New England Patriots and his final three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady broke just about every lifetime passing record there is and even set a few of his own before they were broken.
Those two decades with the Patriots were some of the greatest that Robert Kraft ever had.
And now that Brady is with FOX, Brady won’t even be able to visit the Patriots too often to spend time with his his former boss on NFL Sundays.
Do you agree with what Kraft said about Brady?
