The Tennessee Titans might be making a big change at running back for next season and beyond.
According to Michael Silver, the Titans are shopping star running back Derrick Henry and that means a lot of teams will be giving them a call, one of which could be the New England Patriots.
Henry could be interested in going to the Patriots since a video surfaced on Monday showing Henry asking Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon how he likes playing for them.
Here’s a look at it:
This led to NFL fans speculating about Henry joining the Patriots
“So Henry has one more year for $10.5M from his current contract. He would need another one for sure. If he wouldn’t want too much I would trade for him. Would be more happy with this trade than with the DHop trade. Our running game would be on another level with him and Mondre,” one tweet read.
Henry has been one of the best backs in the league since he came into the NFL. He’s rushed for over 1,000 yards in four of the last five seasons and even rushed for over 2,000 yards in 2020.
If he were to join the Patriots, he’d put them in the conversation to potentially win the AFC East.
