The Patriots didn’t just get embarrassed by the Cowboys in Week 4, they lost star pass rusher Matthew Judon to a long-term injury.
Judon suffered a torn bicep in Dallas this past Sunday. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the four-time Pro Bowler will undergo surgery on Wednesday.
Even though Judon wants to play again later this season, there’s no guarantee he will.
“He wants to try to come back to play again this year, but there are questions about whether he can or will,” Schefter said of Judon. “Either way he’s out indefinitely.”
As you’d expect, NFL fans are devastated by this injury news.

“Yup season is over, tank for Williams,” one fan suggested.

“This is turning into a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad season,” another person said. “Or……are the Pats tanking for Caleb. Belichick would be brilliant enough to be doing it while everyone thought it was Arizona.”

“No point tbh,” a third person added. “Love you Judon but get healthy and get ready for next year.”

Judon already had 13 tackles and four sacks for the Patriots this season. In 2022, he racked up 60 tackles and 15.5 sacks.
We’re wishing Judon a full and speedy recovery.
