Should the Patriots fire Bill Belichick before we even reach October? Apparently, Boston sports radio host Tony Massarotti believes the answer is a resounding yes.
Massarotti was recently asked which NFL head coach should be immediately fired. He replied, “Bill Belichick.”
Massarotti claims he wanted Belichick fired years ago.
“Why are you surprised, I said I would fire him three years ago,” Massarotti said. “Out. Bye. Done. See you later. It should have already happened. The only reason it hasn’t happened is because of that stupid Shula record.”
Some people believe this is an overreaction from Massarotti. Others, however, agree with his stance on Belichick.

“I listen to a lot of sports radio. Too much really. In three different markets living in Chicago, LA and now Boston. Fegler & Mazz is, by far, the worst. They are so miserable constantly. Are not fun or funny. And just constantly say nonsense for attention,” a third person added.

An 0-2 start for the Patriots isn’t ideal, but they looked competitive against the Eagles and Dolphins.
Calling for Belichick’s job after Week 2 just seems extremely premature. Let’s give the six-time Super Bowl champion time to redeem himself.
