The Patriots are heading into their 2023 season with an up-and-coming Rhamondre Stevenson as their No. 1 back. Reserve options include Pierre Strong, Ty Montgomery, Kevin Harris and J.J. Taylor.
Fournette would certainly fortify this running back room. This past season, the 28-year-old ball carrier recorded 1,191 yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns.
Fournette won a Super Bowl with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. And now, Brady’s former team is making a possible play for the veteran running back.
New England will kickoff its training camp practices on July 26. Stay tuned for updates on Fournette’s free-agent visit with the Patriots.
