DeAndre Hopkins is set to go on a small tour of the United States this week.
He’s already in Nashville to visit the Tenessee Titans and there’s a good chance he could end up in Foxborough later this week for a visit with the New England Patriots.
Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has heard about those rumors and recently said that he’d love to have Hopkins come aboard.
“I think that’s definitely a hypothetical, but I think DeAndre is a great player,” Jones said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). “You watch his film from college all the way through the NFL, he’s done a great job. So obviously, we’d love to have him.”
Adding Hopkins would be massive for the Patriots. He would give them a true top target and someone that can make any catch in any situation.
He was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals after there were numerous rumors that he was going to get traded.
