The New England Patriots used retired franchise greats to announce their 2023 regular season schedule, with a surprise appearance by the GOAT.
Freshly-retired Devin McCourty is the feature star in the video, which also includes Andre Tippett, Troy Brown and others. At the end of the clip, McCourty answers the doorbell and is pleasantly surprised to find Tom Brady on the other side.
“What’s up, Dev? Got room for one more?” a smiling Brady asks.

What a treat for Pats fans. It’s especially fitting considering the Patriots announced earlier today that they will honor Brady at their season opener at home against the Eagles in Week 1.
The occasions has even been dubbed the “Thank You Tom Game.”
“”12 is coming home. @TomBrady will be honored at our home opener at @GilletteStadium,” the Pats wrote on Twitter earlier.
